The PULSGETRIEBE GmbH & Co. KG company was founded in Eisenach in 1926 by Erich Friedrich Puls and has been domiciled in Karlsruhe since the end of the 1950s. Since its founding, PULSGETRIEBE has specialised in the development of innovative and high quality gearboxes which are manufactured and assembled in its own factory in Karlsruhe.

PULSGETRIEBE is still a family company and is currently being managed in the third generation by Dr. sc. techn. ETH Christoph Puls, with a doctorate in mechanical engineering.

PULSGETRIEBE has been strongly rooted for decades in the Karlsruhe technology region with its long tradition of mechanical engineering and also obtains most of the bought-in components and services from this region. The central location in Europe and the optimum connection from Karlsruhe to the European motorway and railway networks as well as several international airports in the immediate vicinity have also enabled PULSGETRIEBE to establish and maintain intensive partnerships of many years with foreign customers.
